About Us

Glenn and Marjorie have been married for over 33 years, have 5 adult children and 1 grandchild.

While they always felt called to overseas missions, it wasn’t until 2010 that their family moved to Guatemala to work with an orphanage in the highlands of central Guatemala. Glenn was the liaison for teams who worked at the orphanage for a week’s time almost every month of the year.

In 2012 the Broces transitioned to Uganda, East Africa where they worked with Grace Assembly church in downtown Kampala. Glenn was one of the 3 teaching pastors. He also was the head chaplain for Heritage International School for 3 years, working with students from 27 nations and 6 continents. Marjorie was the secondary art teacher and department chair.

It was during their time in Uganda that the revelation of how to disciple nations through the 7 Mountains of Influence began to take shape. They developed a workshop, teaching it in churches in Uganda and Kenya, Charis Bible College Kampala, for ministry leaders at Scripture Union Uganda and to ministry leaders of University Discipleship Movement, a ministry of World Gospel Mission, Uganda. They’ve also taught in churches in the US.

In 2017, God impressed that this season in Uganda was coming to a close, so Glenn and Marjorie returned to the US, settling in the Kansas City area. Marjorie teaches ESL students at public schools in a urban city environment. Glenn has done house remodeling and teaching in the same schools as Marjorie.

Glenn and Marjorie have continued to be involved in missions, traveling back to Uganda and Kenya several times, and a trip to Nepal. Influence 7 is helping Sabastian Okwero with a rural Bible School in western Kenya, and helps support Isaac LJ, a refugee from South Sudan, who lives in a refugee camp in northern Uganda pastoring and reaching Sudanese and Ugandans.

Glenn has a B.S. in Computer Science from Austin Peay State University (2001) and a Master of Biblical Studies from Charis Bible College (2005). Marjorie has a B.A. in Communications from Point Loma Nazarene University (1987), a teachers credential also from PLNU (1989) and a Master of Biblical Studies from Charis Bible College (2005). She is finishing a M.A. in ESL from Southern Missouri University (2024).

The Broces have spent over 10 years overseas and have lived in North America, Central America, Europe and Africa. Between the two, they have done missions in: Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, England, Russia, Nepal, Hungary (communist), Uganda, and Kenya.
